Writing Vulnerable Poetry

Write poems that connect your own vulnerabilities to the policies, bureaucracies, and social hierarchies that shape how we collectively suffer and survive. Create poems that expose institutional failures, that reveal gaps between bureaucratic language and lived reality, and that show how the systems designed to help us often cause us the most harm. This course will help you understand what vulnerability actually means, and will show you how to use it to develop a uniquely vulnerable poetic voice.
